Stewed Black Grapes With Gluten-Free Granola And Yoghurt

Start the day right with this healthy home made granola topped with stewed grapes and yoghurt.


  • 300g SABLE SEEDLESS® brand black grapes
  • ½ cup (250ml) water
  • 1 cup (175g) white sugar
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 cups (120g) whole almonds, chopped
  • 1 cup (112g) pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup (80g) coconut flakes
  • 2 cups (200g) certified gluten free old fashioned rolled oats
  • 3/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup (100g) pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup (55g) extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cups (500g) plain Greek yoghurt
  • 200g SABLE SEEDLESS® black grapes to serve


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Add the sugar, water and the two cloves to a small saucepan and place over medium heat until simmering. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the grapes and continue to simmer for a further 30 minutes or until the syrup has reduced and thickened and the grapes softened. Set stewed grapes aside in a bowl to cool.
  3. In a large bowl mix together the granola ingredients, combining everything together before laying it out on a paper lined baking tray and placing in the oven.
  4. Bake the granola for 30 minutes or until golden, stirring occasionally.
  5. Once the granola is golden, remove from the oven and let it cool down to room temperature.
  6. To serve, scoop a spoonful of yoghurt in in two bowls, top with a spoonful of grapes and finish with a small handful of the granola.
